Desert Rivers: a ceramic collection

a most precious project—

this collection is called Desert Rivers because Holy Spirit, in all His kind wonder, spoke the imagery and the words to me over the last season and then asked me to dedicate the collection to the "call for rest and slowness"

the encouragement is that we get INTO the river, where the freedom of life in Jesus flows so freely that we actually don't have to do much ––the Grace river. rather than trying to stand on the banks and forcefully attempt to mould the land in certain ways, or try manipulate the water in certain directions.

the rest and hope, the promise and the healing, all of it is accessible when we simply give up and get into the water.

only the Father can cause rivers to flow in the desert.
