ABOUT THE COLLECTION
‘spring in my bones’ formed itself without so much as a warning signal, and that's what makes it special to me.
it morphed into a rather large and prolific collection in a way that was gentle and without pressure. majority of these pieces were created on my rest days, when i simply wanted to play, let go and try new things.
i find the process of exploring colour with ink and watercolour the most restful of all the techniques and mediums i use. these pieces have truly been born out of a place of quietness, trust, play and rest.
as for the collection's name, it is a summary of the testimony of healing i am walking in. in the last 3 months, my weak and weary bones (and soul) have been injected with a refreshed energy and restoration that i can only accredit to my Maker and kind Father. all glory goes to Him, always.
these works embody the pure joy of
colour-wandering across a piece of paper
my prayer is that you will encounter the joy of new life with each piece, and that your heart's colours would be stirred up into goodness.
