I teach because I believe in the power of play––to bring rest, and even healing, to your often tired heart and mind.

so why watercolour?

3 – a little paint goes a loooooong way (we're talking years, people)
4 – it's kid-friendly, pretty neat (unless you're jackson pollock), and easy to clean
5 – it's compact (I travel all around the world with my painting kit!)

the how
The live courses have finished but you can still get access to the recordings. Due to the group nature of the calls, you will still feel like you are in the live class with the other students and you can gain extra insight from their questions!
week 1: watercolour + ink
week 2: abstract
week 3: landscape + botanical (schedule below)
There are two types of classes: TUTORIAL + PAINT–ALONG
There are various price packages you can choose from, you choose which classes you want to attend
Recordings of your live class will be available online for 2 weeks for you to re-watch. *These will not be downloadable
CLASSES EXPLAINED:
TUTORIAL
WHAT TO EXPECT:

a break-down of the basics of abstract play/watercolour and ink, composition tips + techniques

a live demo of the week's theme

I am teaching you to PLAY and create impressions, not perfect renditions of an image (you can release that breath now)

time at end to practice the 3 techniques + ask questions
PAINT–ALONG
WHAT TO EXPECT:

length: 1 hour approx.

class size: 15–20 max
-
this session is for you to practice!

we will start with a warm-up of the 3 techniques you learned in the tutorial
-
we will all paint the same image, so you can see how I apply the tutorial lesson and then you will follow along
-
this is a facilitated time where you can ask me questions if you get stuck as you practice
